I've noticed on Jaguars of various models ranging from 2004 to 2009 that version 2.30 on the MD802 is unable to log in to most modules. An autoscan, for example, yields mostly "-!-" as if those modules are not present, rather than the usual "OK" or number of faults being displayed.  Reverting to version  2.0 gets me into those modules without issue. I'm not sure if the problem extends beyond those model years, it's just that those are the years I've had available to me - X-Types, S-Types, and XJ models.

 I see Jaguar Version 2.40 has just been released, so I will try that and report back.

 Version 2.40 seems to have fixed it - was able to do full auto scan on an 09 XJ
